We absolutely loved how this hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the city, near the historic Jokhang Temple and the bustling Bakhor market. the rooms are clean and cosy with beautiful, traditional Tibetan decor, and the staff is super friendly and helpful, even assisting us with laundry. the hotel offers a wonderful traditional breakfast with various options to choose from. We also appreciated the heating in the room, making the chilly nights comfortable.
We have to say that the lobby and public spaces were not heated, which can be quite chilly, especially during the cold winter months.

The staff was very nice. We were regularly asked how we were doing. The hotel is very nice with the colourful paintings. The location directly at the old town is great. But you just have to walk from the main streets.
On two days we had no hot water when we wanted to take a shower. Seemed like a gamble.

This traditional Tibetan hotel was perfect for my business trip. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction. The location was ideal for exploring the old town, with many attractions within walking distance. The rooftop restaurant offered stunning views and the breakfast was filling and delicious.
While the hotel had many positives, there were a few minor inconveniences such as spotty wifi and a lack of an elevator. However, these were easily overlooked due to the overall charm and warmth of the hotel.

The hotel had a great location, which made it easy to explore the nearby attractions. The staff was very accommodating and provided excellent service throughout our stay. we really enjoyed the included breakfast and the comfortable atmosphere of the hotel.
The bathroom had a distinct odor that was hard to ignore. it was quite a challenge to climb the stairs to our room without an elevator, especially due to the high altitude of the area.
